I
moved
to

United
States,
I
decided
to
choose
an
English
name
for
myself.
After
some

I
chose
the
name
Lily. I
love
the
name
Lily
because
it
is
simple,
sweet,
and
timeless.
The
word
"lily"
comes
from
the
Greek
word
"lilium,"
which
means
pure
or
innocent.
In
many
cultures,
the
lily
is
a
symbol
of
purity,
beauty,
and
grace.
It
is
also
the
flower
associated
with
the
month
of
May,
which
happens
to
be
the
month
of
my
birth. Choosing
an
English

was
not
an
easy

I
wanted
a
name
that
was
easy
to
pronounce

Lily. When

of

got
used
to
my
new
name.
In
fact,
many
of
my
friends
now
tell
me
that
they
think
Lily
is
a
perfect
name
for
me. Having
an
English
name
has
also
helped
me
to
better

into
American
